Press Release

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Nov. 4, 2025)Nabholz Properties Inc. has announced plans for a $25 million mixed-use development adjacent to Simmons Bank Arena and the 2nd Street Promenade in North Little Rock.

The project will feature a 90-room Aloft hotel, the relocation of the iconic Willy D’s Dueling Pianos from Little Rock’s River Market District, and a planned 7,000-square-foot event venue. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m., and the public is invited to attend.

The development marks a significant investment in downtown North Little Rock, further connecting the Argenta Arts District with the growing corridor surrounding Simmons Bank Arena. Site work will begin immediately following the groundbreaking.

“This project builds on years of momentum in Argenta and continues our commitment to investing in North Little Rock’s downtown,” said Greg Nabholz, CEO of Nabholz Properties Inc. “It serves as a gateway to Argenta — amplifying the energy of nearby projects like the new North Little Rock Conference Center, the enhanced 2nd Street Promenade, and Argenta Plaza with its future ATG Pavilion. Together with Simmons Bank Arena and Dickey-Stephens Park, these destinations strengthen the area’s role as a vibrant hub for dining, hospitality and entertainment.”

The Aloft hotel will be developed through a partnership between Conway Management and Span Hospitality. Aloft is part of the Marriott family of hotels, known for its modern design, vibrant social spaces and innovative guest experience.

“We’re excited to bring the Aloft brand to North Little Rock,” said Nemo Sitaram, director of development for Conway Management. “This property will deliver a high-quality hospitality option steps away from Simmons Bank Arena and the Argenta Arts District, strengthening the city’s appeal to both visitors and event organizers.”

Joining the development is Willy D’s Dueling Pianos, a staple of Central Arkansas nightlife since 2003. The new location will feature expanded performance space and an upgraded live entertainment experience.

“After more than 20 years in the River Market, we’re thrilled to begin our next chapter in North Little Rock,” said Danny W. Brown, owner of Willy D’s Dueling Pianos. “This move allows us to create a fresh venue designed from the ground up to deliver the best dueling piano and live music experience in the region.”

Dignitaries attending the ceremony will include North Little Rock Mayor Terry Hartwick, Pulaski County Judge Barry Hyde, and other local and state officials. KABZ 103.7 The Buzz will broadcast live “The Zone” hosted by Justin Acri and DJ Williams from the event. The official name of the project will be unveiled during the ceremony.
