Nabholz Properties is proud to celebrate the recognition of Charles Nabholz, our chairman, as the recipient of the 2025 Legacy of Leadership Award from Arkansas Business. This prestigious honor is awarded to individuals who have made a lasting impact on the state of Arkansas through their leadership, service, and contributions to business and community development.

A Legacy of Leadership and Service

Charles Nabholz’s career in the construction industry began in 1954 when he joined his family’s business, Nabholz Construction, where he later served as chairman and CEO before becoming chairman emeritus. In 1961, he founded Con-Ark Builders, a merit shop general contracting firm, and in 1983, he established Nabholz Properties, where he continues to serve as chairman today. His leadership has played a crucial role in the growth and development of Central Arkansas, particularly in Faulkner County.

Beyond his business achievements, Charles has dedicated decades to community service. His involvement includes serving on boards for Conway Corporation, Conway Development Corporation, Conway Regional Health System, and St. Joseph Church and School, among many others. In 2010-2011, he chaired the Conway Vision 2025 Steering Committee, helping shape the future of the city. His commitment to the community has earned him multiple honors, including induction into the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame and the Distinguished Citizen Community Service Award in 2011.
